Maths Sux!

LOL I love this card I made for my nephew! Party Time Tuesday, Totally papercrafts and Wee Memories all had 'back to school' as their theme this week and normally I wouldn't make a school card (not having any children there seems to be no need to!) but I must admit that my mother has sent over a series of maths sheets for me to do so she can help my nephew with his maths when he gets stuck (she would do it herself but being of that generation and where she lived her childhood -remote south pacific island, she has very limited education and some of the maths questions are beyond her!) so Neil and I am in the middle of doing these maths sheets - the first side is relatively easy but the second side is putting maths in theoretical form and it is a bit like doing an IQ test - I tell you the title of this card really is a sympathy card for my nephew because Maths really does sux!
Fortunately for him while he was here a few weeks ago and I did a sheet or 2 with him I realised that he has completely missed the boat so to speak with 'the power of 10' which is the basis of all maths so I mentioned it to his mother and he is now receiving extra tuition in maths so he can catch up - so I think this card is rather apt for him at the moment!

I have followed the easy to use sketch from Sketch Saturday.

materials - Core 'dinations lime, Bazzill red devil, AC sapphire, melon cardboard; Jillibean Soup 'watermelon gazpacho' papers; AnnaBelle Stamps 'lil monster's balloon', Stampendous typewriter alphabet stamps; Stazon jet black ink; Marvy pens - blender 0, pale orange 16, dark brown 18, leafy green 48, citrus yellow 69; Creative Memories circle cutters, paper clips.

Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
