Happy Baa-day

I have just made my very first easel card - I have seen these while scrolling the internet and I wondered how they were made. This week Magic in the air with cupcakes challenge was to do an easel card and they gave various links to learn how to do one so I decided to give it a go.
Here is the flattened version.

and here it is opened up

and a close up

Basically I incorporated and slight pop up (the match stick fence!) so when the card opens and sits like an easel the fence sits up as well!

I loved making this card and have also submitted it for Totally Stampalicious 3D project, Birthday Sundaes - Masculine, Simon Says - for a male and I have followed Card Positioning Systems #220 sketch.

I have used Ferngully stamps - barn and sheep. Hero Arts be happy - grass, Verve Up Up & Away - clouds and MME Stella & Rose papers. To make the fence I cut match sticks up, linked them together with craft wire and mounted it on folded clear acetate. Stamped the barn on kraft card, fussy cut it and then cut open the door. The sheep were stamped on watercolor paper and I have used Marvy Pens to colour in.

Thanks for looking.
