So Sweet - Top Tip Tuesday Guest DT

Hi all, welcome to my post as guest DT over at Top Tip Tuesday challenge blog.  I have been a regular participater in their fortnightly challenges and I am thrilled to be their guest DT for this fortnight.
The challenge this fortnight is OFFICE SUPPLIES.  So anything that can be used in an office - bull clips, paper clips, tabs, staples, lined paper, folders, notebooks, hole punch etc ... you get the idea, can be used on your project.  For my example I used file folders and made a little embellishment using a paper clip ...
Here is the embellishment using a paper clip ...
My image is from one of this fortnights sponsors ... Kenny K, it is a digital stamp called Troublemaker you can find it at the Kenny K Shop

Hello there, it has been a while since I have made a card :)  I had my mother here last week so it was great seeing her and spending time with her.
It has also been a while since I last participated in an AnnaBelle Stamps challenge :0  so I decided to create a card based on the wonderful colour combo over at AnnaBelle Stamps - cocoa, waterfall and pumpkin ...
I also followed the sketch from Retro Sketches #69 and also the 'off the edge' challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays
and here is my card ...
I have recently rediscovered my paints! and love splatting paint everywhere ... watch out walls I might just progress from cardboard to plasterboard !!!!
materials used - Kaisercraft coffee bean cardstock; orange and teal cardstock; MME 'a mothers love' paper; AnnaBelle Stamps 'shape it up' stamps; Color Box frost white ink, Color Palette autumn orange ink; AnnaBelle Stamps 16mm pumpkin satin trim; Spellbinders classic ovals small; MFT mini tab quartet; Staples; paint - white and Kaisercraft seabreeze.

Hi Dad

It is not Fathers day until September here in Australia/New Zealand so this is a little early for dad but it is better to get it done now rather than leave it to the last minute!
Following the designer drafts from Paper Smooches SPARKS
and also making it a Fathers day card for The Pink Elephant, Top Tip Tuesday - masculine, Papertake Weekly - hello boys and Kaboodle Doodles - for your favourite guy ... I made a card for my Dad ... I didn't use a masucline image because I wanted to use the 'hi Dad' title so I made the farmer with pigtails to represent me!
I made a little hanging sign for the title ...
and here is the farmer girl - I coloured and paper pieced her to create dimension ...
materials used - Smooth white and light blue cardstock; Simple Stories 'family ties' papers; Paper Smooches green acres and alphadot stamps; Staz On jet black ink; CC Designs grass die; MFT flat bottom clouds, woodgrain fence dies; Prismacolor pencils; twine.
Thanks for looking.

Well Done

Where have I been! in the craft room working on a Sn@p album for our cycling tours over the past 3 years and there is a lot to cover!
I took a break today to make this card - every term my nephew gets a school report and by the time I get organised to make a card for him the report has been and gone so this time I am getting in early thanks to the challenges from CASual Fridays - congratulations, Cute Card Thursday - to cool for school, Kaboodle Doodles - one for the kids, Top Tip Tuesday - numbers and Papertake Weekly - anything goes ...
LOL isn't the pencil adorable!  They are easy to make -
Cut a white card at 15mm x 75mm, layer a 15mm x 65mm patterned paper (with one end that has been cut with scallop scissors (use the inverse) on the white card, trim the left over end to a point, colour with a light brown/orange pencil and colour the tips with the co-ordinating paper colour.  Here is a great TIP to make it look like a stamped image:  Outline the edge of the patterned paper with a black marker - this works well for any basic shape!
I have made the blue pencil slightly taller and animated it by giving it eyes, arms and legs.
Materials used - white card stock; Kaisercraft 'class of '87' papers; black marker; Marvy aquamarine pen; google eyes; Adorn it Krazy Karisa alphabet stickers.
