May is one of the birthday months for me - and the first is my darling partner Neil. I teamed up with the designer drafts challenge from
Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge blog, used elements from
CAS-ual Fridays Tic Tac Toe - polka dots, kraft and punches/dies and made a male birthday card for
The Pink Elephant.
I actually rotated the sketch 180 degrees and used the 3 trees to represent my banner ends element. The 2 small arrows are actually from the chat bubbles stamp set - I stamped and clear embossed them and then fussy cut them.
materials used - kraft cardstock, Kaisercraft forest cardstock; Simple Stores 'family ties', Jillibean Soup 'sweet and sour' papers; Paper Smooches spring groves, chat bubbles (arrows) and alphadot stamps; Staz On timber brown, Versamark watermark ink; Color Palette summer blue ink; Clear embossing powder; Prismacolor pencils; MFT notebook edge die; CC Design grass border die.
