Just saying Hi

Well I haven't posted on this blog for the past few days sort of been making cards for mag submissions but this week over at Moxie Fab World they are having a bit of a sketch party and have released 4 sketches - shaped, square, horizontal and vertical. Off course I started with the square one as I knew exactly what I was going to do when I saw the sketch!

Off course the flower represents anything and I decided to do something which I haven't done in a while and that is cut the title along the card edge.

It is a simple, quick and easy card to make and I drew inspiration from the challenges over at Wee Memories and Top Tip Tuesday which both had 'masculine' as their theme.
My tip for Top Tip Tuesday in making a card like this - use left over or old chipboard letters as a template/stencil for the title - the simpler the font of chipboard the easier it is to cut!
materials - Bazzill aloe vera cardboard; Kaisercraft 'lone ranger - sheriff' paper; Practising Creativity 'whole cycle' stamps, Sassafras Lass 'stitched borders' stamps; Stazon timber brown ink, VersaMagic night sky inks; Everlasting Keepsake 'block letter chipz'; Adorn it Carolee Creations tiny blue alpha stickers.
