Well Done

Where have I been! in the craft room working on a Sn@p album for our cycling tours over the past 3 years and there is a lot to cover!
I took a break today to make this card - every term my nephew gets a school report and by the time I get organised to make a card for him the report has been and gone so this time I am getting in early thanks to the challenges from CASual Fridays - congratulations, Cute Card Thursday - to cool for school, Kaboodle Doodles - one for the kids, Top Tip Tuesday - numbers and Papertake Weekly - anything goes ...
LOL isn't the pencil adorable!  They are easy to make -
Cut a white card at 15mm x 75mm, layer a 15mm x 65mm patterned paper (with one end that has been cut with scallop scissors (use the inverse) on the white card, trim the left over end to a point, colour with a light brown/orange pencil and colour the tips with the co-ordinating paper colour.  Here is a great TIP to make it look like a stamped image:  Outline the edge of the patterned paper with a black marker - this works well for any basic shape!
I have made the blue pencil slightly taller and animated it by giving it eyes, arms and legs.
Materials used - white card stock; Kaisercraft 'class of '87' papers; black marker; Marvy aquamarine pen; google eyes; Adorn it Krazy Karisa alphabet stickers.
Thanks for looking.
