Annabelle Stamps Guest DT - for you with love

Hi all and welcome to my guest DT spot for Annabelle Stamps ... have you checked out the gorgeous Easter stamps that have been released ... just in time for Easter (at the end of March/beginning of April if you didn't realise!).
This week I dug out the ole Opalettes and gave them go ... if you are unsure as to what Opalettes are they are commonly known as UTEE - ultra thick embossing enamel.  Following the sketch for Annabelle Stamps challenge 157 ...
This is such a user friendly sketch and I couldn't wait to have a play with it.  As soon as I saw it it reminded me of a frame.  So using chipboard I created a frame and cut it into 4 pieces to make it easier to work with.   I worked with 1 piece at a time and inked it with watermark ink and proceeded to apply 3 layers of opalettes to the frame piece.  On the 3rd application I stamped BBD 2 onto the heated powder while it was still hot and removed it once it cooled a bit (a few minutes later).  It leaves an awesome impression and if you are not happy with the end result just reheat and melt ... although if mistakes do happen it is only recommended to reheat once or twice.  Here is my card ...
here is a close up of the BBD 2 stamped impression ...
I then repeated the steps for the remaining 3 frame pieces and reassembled the frame around a tulip stamp from Squared Posies.
materials used - smooth white cardstock; light chipboard; Annabelle Stamps squared posies, background by design 2, decorated christmas stamps; Versa Color heliotrope and old rose inks; Pipedreamink Opalettes river rose and lavendaer; Annabelle Stamps cuts by design ‘christmas ornaments’ dies; Kaisercraft pearls; Prismacolor pencils.

Check out all the details at Annabelle Stamps blog from there have a look at the wonderful cards created by the ever so talented (and varied styles!) of the DT team.  You have 2 weeks to complete your entry using the above sketch.
