Celebrate today and everyday

Hi ya bloggers - I am loving the colour yellow lately and I see alot of paper ranges have included it in their paper releases. It is such a warm vibrant colour and I adore it with shades of blue, blue green and teal. For this card I followed the sketch from Card Patterns #130, made it into an easel card for Kaboodle Doodles, incorporated flourishes and embossing for Quirky Crafts and I am also submitting it for Party Time Tuesdays - anything goes.

here is a close up of the gorgeous sunflower from AnnaBelle Stamps 'squared posies' set and I have dry dot embossed its background.

For the ribbon I have just created 1 small and 1 large ribbon circle, sandwiched the 2 together and secured with a brad - it makes a lovely effect and is a nice change from a 'bow'.

materials - AC coffee card, Core 'dinations montego bay card; Lily Bee 'this & that' papers; AnnaBelle Stamps 'squared posies' stamps, Autumn Leaves 'elegant flourishes'; Stazon timber brown ink; Marvy pens - blender 0, dark brown 18, citrus yellow; Basic Grey 'urban prairie' brads; Provocraft dot embossing folder; 16mm yellow grossgrain trim.
Thanks for looking.
